Project: "Prevalence of Fluorosis in the Community of Selected Districts of India and Development of an Appropriate Intervention Model for Prevention and Control of Fluorosis".
Qualification: High School with five years experience* in .related field (Fluorosis, Biochemistry) from a Government Institute/ Government recognized institute. OR High School with Certificate of one year training in the relevant (Fluorosis) Biochemistry). Note: Intermediate with science subjects and B.Sc. shall be treated as 3 years experience
Desirable: M.Sc. Life Sciences
Age Limit: 28 years

National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) was founded by Sir Robert McCarrison in the year 1918 as ‘Beri-Beri’ Enquiry Unit in a single room laboratory at the Pasteur Institute, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. Within a short span of seven years, this unit blossomed into a 'Deficiency Disease Enquiry' and later in 1928, emerged as full-fledged 'Nutrition Research Laboratories' (NRL) with Dr. McCarrison as its first Director. It was shifted to Hyderabad in 1958.
