Job Vacancy for Project Technician in Consultancy Project
[Ref: IITM/CONS/RxDSI/VD/33]
Potential candidates are invited for the position of one Project Technician in a consultancy
project in the laboratories of Dr. Varun Dutt IIT Mandi.
Project Title: Evaluation of quantitative systems pharmacology and machine learning models for blood glucose prediction Job profile: The project technician will perform R&D in the areas of machine learning and deep learning
Eligibility: Citizen of India. MCA/M.Sc./B. E./B. Tech. or equivalent degree with 60% marks (or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale) in Computer Science or relevant subject area.
Selection criteria: Essential: Knowledge of programming languages like Python; good communication skills; ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team; and, willingness to learnnew techniques. Desirable: Knowledge and hands-on experience in developing machine learning models.
Fellowship: 12,400-14,400/- depending on qualification and experience. Duration: Initially for 1 year (and extendable subject to the performance up to the duration of the project). The selected candidate will need to join the project immediately.
