Project Trainee (Mechanical) recruitment in Indian Institute of Astrophysics purely temporary on contract basis
Essential Qualification : A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering from a University/Institution recognized by the UGC/AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.
Desirable : Basic knowledge and some experience in the following:- a) Manufacturing processes b) Mechanical drawings c) Measuring tools like Vernier Calliper, Micrometer, etc. d) Microsoft Office and CAD tools like Solid works.
Remuneration : Rs. 20,000/- per month (inclusive of all)

1786 at Madras which from the year 1792 began to formally function at
its Nungambakkam premises as the Madras Observatory. In 1899, the
observatory moved to Kodaikanal. In the year 1971, the Kodaikanal
Observatory became an autonomous society, the Indian Institute of
