Research Assistant job position in Punjab Agricultural University
Scheme : Integrated Watershed Management Research in Kandi Area Plan-60. Part-I) 'Research' (PC-/071.2) at RRS. Ballowal, Saunkhri on contractual basis with the following qualifications.
Qualification : I. B.Tech. in Agri/. Enggi/Civil Engg./B.Sc. (Medical/Non-Medical at least with second division. 2. M.Tech. in Soil & Water Engrg./Masters degree in any branch of Science with minimum ()CPA of 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks. 3. Matric level certificate of Punjabi language from Punjab School Education Board or other recognized Board/Agency (as first or second language)
Pay Scale : Rs. 25000/- fixed p.m. for M.Sc. and 30000/- p.m. thed for Ph.D.
Job responsibilities : 1. Research work in the area of soil & water engg. 2. Teaching/Extension Education duties as assigned 3. Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.
Note : A candidate who may not possess Master's degree in the relevant discipline but possesses Ph.D. degree in the discipline required at Master'. level shall be eligible for the post. Such a candidate must have obtained OCPA of 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks at Master's level in the allied field.

On trifurcation of Punjab in November 1966, Haryana Agricultural University was carved out of PAU by an Act of Parliament in February 1970. Later, in July 1970, Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidalya was established.
