Qualification : B.Sc. (Agri.)/B.Sc. (Hort.)/ B.Sc. (Forestry)/B.Sc. (Biotechnology)/B.Sc. (lions) at least with second division. M.Sc.in Plant Breeding/Plant Breeding & Genetics , At least Second division at Bachelors' level and 65 % marks or OCPA of 6.50 out of 10.00 at Master's level IV- Matric level certificate of Punjabi language
Salary : Rs.25000
Fee : payment Rs.200/- in shape of Bank Draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana

The Punjab Agricultural University was established in 1962 to serve the state of erstwhile Punjab. On trifurcation of Punjab in November 1966, Haryana Agricultural University was carved out of PAU by an Act of Parliament in February 1970.
