Job Description

Handle and manage all purchase/procurement related items (electronic components/ hardware/Mechanical etc) for multiple programs.
Manage inventory of the generic components required by the projects, raise flag when components reach threshold value and order them.
Assign and maintain records of components issued to Production facilities,
Manage vendors, negotiate with them for the best rates and payment terms.
Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales.
Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
Capable of doing Audits at vendors place and on incoming lots
Need to travel to suppliers/production facilities if required
