Source and evaluate vendors based on price, quality, and delivery timelines.

Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.

Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods/services.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.

Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and trends.

Ensure compliance with internal and external procurement policies.

Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, damaged goods, or invoice discrepancies.

Collaborate with finance and operations departments to forecast demand and manage budgets.

Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Required Skills and Competencies:

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Knowledge of procurement processes, purchase order cycles, and vendor management.

Good understanding of inventory systems and basic supply chain practices.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP or procurement software (e.g., SAP, Tally, Oracle) is a plus.
