Responsible for purchase of Electronic Components, Raw material for manufacturing of Electronic Sub Systems and Modules, electronic controllers, Test-Jigs for Defence and Aerospace Industry.
Obtain quotations and prepare comparative statement of the quotations.
Negotiate with Suppliers for the better pricing and discounts.
Finalize the terms of price and mode of dispatch.
Process purchase orders in the system and put up for management approval.
Communicate to supplier and expedite for the delivery of ordered items project wise.
Liaise with stores for receipt of goods and with Finance for payment to Suppliers.
Should be able to give presentations of the procurement status project wise, should be able to travel to Suppliers premised for expediting or inspection.
