We are currently looking for a Purchase Manager to look after the purchase department that is essential for our company’s day-to-day operations.

Job Description : -

• Managing and controlling all the company’s external suppliers with particular emphasis on the purchase of Materials and finished parts for production.
• Ensure parts and materials are bought at the most competitive price and delivered on time for production.
• Receive Requisitions from the Factory.
• Place order – Generate PO by mail / Spectrum.
• Identify new suppliers, agree terms and negotiate supply agreements where appropriate, including discount structures and volume rebates.
• Float Inquiries to the vendor.
• Compare Rates & Specifications of the material.
• Request vendors for samples, send the same to factory for testing.
• Get approvals for samples and rates
• Follow up for dispatch of material; ensure receipt of the material at the factory.
• Receive required documents from suppliers and transporters (tax invoice).
• Prepare a cost comparison sheet.
• Prepare and maintain BOM.
• Prepare and maintain BOQ.
• Liaison with plant on rejected materials and scrap and arrange for either return to vendor or disposal of scrap and rejection goods.

Qualifications : -

• Must be a graduate in any stream.
• Must have minimum 5 year of Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent or similar role.
• Familiarity with procurement processes and Supplier Quality Metrics with flow-down to supplier contracts and performance reviews.

• Knowledge of ERP system preferably SAP relevant to pricing/purchase modules

Office timings : - 10.30 am to 7.30 pm mon-sat.

Salary : - 25,000 to 30,000 /- per month.
