Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to oversee procurement activities, manage supplier relationships, and ensure cost-effective purchasing of goods and materials. The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills, supply chain management expertise, and experience in vendor management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for quality products at the best price.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, equipment, and goods.

2. Cost Management & Budgeting

  • Monitor purchasing budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Reduce expenses without compromising quality and efficiency.

3. Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination

  • Work with warehouse and inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Implement effective inventory control measures to prevent shortages or excess stock.
  • Ensure timely deliveries and resolve logistics or supply chain issues.

4. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
  • Handle import/export documentation if required.

5. Process Improvement & Reporting

  • Implement best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Regularly review purchase processes for efficiency improvements.
  • Prepare and present purchase reports and cost analyses to management.
