Design and development of highly scalable, highly - available, and performance-optimized cloud applications
Constantly drive innovations in the platforms and products
Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
Improve engineering standards, code reviews and build necessary tooling
Mentor guide the junior developers in the team

Technical Requirement

Strong software development skills in Python
Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Able to design create a database schema in SQL and No-SQL databases with data security in mind
Deep understanding of the HTTP protocol, web application performance, and scalability
Understanding of the differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems
Familiarity with event-driven programming (Python / Go / Rust)
Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture
Working understanding of network I/O
Working knowledge of pub-sub architectures for real-time communication
Strong unit test and debugging skills
Proficient understanding of Git
Knowledge in network architecture server administration
Working knowledge on AWS setup and the various AWS services
Nice to have technical skill sets:
Basic understanding of web technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
Familiarity with message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc
Good understanding of Redis
Experience with DevOps
