Job Description
We are seeking a talented QA automation engineer to design testing procedures for our software applications. In this role, will be responsible for analysing the functionality of applications and designing automated tests to validate their performance. You will also be required to identify bugs, install databases, and collaborate with the software design team.
- Qualification: BE/BTech/MCA
- Experience: 1 – 2 years
Key Responsibilities

Automation Framework Development
Design and develop scalable and maintainable automated test frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, or Playwright. -
Test Script Creation and Execution
Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications. Ensure thorough coverage of test cases based on software requirements and use cases. -
Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD)
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) to enable continuous testing as part of the software delivery process. -
Collaboration with Development Teams
Work closely with software developers to understand code changes, contribute to testing strategies, and ensure high-quality code is deployed to production. -
Defect Tracking and Reporting
Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps. Provide detailed reports on test coverage, results, and defects. -
API and Backend Testing
Create and run automated tests for APIs using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI. Validate response formats, status codes, and data integrity. -
Performance and Load Testing
Conduct performance and stress testing using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner to assess system behavior under heavy usage. -
Test Data Management
Create and manage test data to simulate real-world usage scenarios. Ensure test environments are configured and reset appropriately for automation runs. -
Test Case Design and Maintenance
Collaborate with manual QA testers to convert manual test cases into automated scripts. Maintain test scripts in response to software updates or feature changes. -
Documentation and Best Practices
Document test plans, test strategies, and best practices for automation. Contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions and team documentation.
