Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive QA Engineer to join our team. The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet high standards of quality before they reach our customers. This includes identifying and reporting bugs, creating and executing test plans, working closely with developers and product teams, and participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, knowledge of QA methodologies, and experience with automation tools. As a QA Engineer, your primary focus will be to develop and implement testing procedures that ensure our applications function as expected and provide a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Testing and Validation

Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing software features.

Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software functions as expected under different conditions.

Conduct functional, integration, regression, performance, load, and usability testing.

Validate bug fixes and patches and ensure resolution of reported issues before production release.
2. Automation
-
Create, maintain, and improve automated test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, Postman, or similar.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development and release process.

Analyze and report automation test results and maintain high levels of test coverage.
3. Collaboration

Work closely with software developers, product managers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and acceptance criteria.

Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings as part of the Agile development process.

Provide clear and timely communication regarding testing progress, challenges, and risks.
4. Bug Tracking and Reporting

Log detailed and reproducible bug reports in a bug tracking system (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Trello).

Track the progress of bug fixes and verify resolutions in follow-up tests.

Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and analyze root causes.
5. Process Improvement

Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and tools to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.

Advocate for quality throughout the development process by providing feedback and suggestions for product and process enhancements.

Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
6. Documentation

Document test cases, procedures, and results for internal records and compliance.

Assist in writing user manuals, FAQs, and other technical documentation when needed.

Contribute to the creation of quality standards and testing best practices.
