Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical QA Tester to join our FinTech development team. As a QA Tester in the financial technology sector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and usability of our digital financial products, including payment gateways, mobile banking applications, trading platforms, and other fintech solutions.
You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers and product managers to maintain the highest quality standards in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Your work will help safeguard sensitive financial data and provide customers with seamless, error-free experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Understanding FinTech Products:

Gain in-depth knowledge of the company’s fintech solutions, including core banking systems, digital wallets, payment processing, loan management, and trading applications.

Stay updated on financial regulations, compliance requirements, and security standards relevant to the products.
2. Test Planning and Design:

Analyze software requirements, user stories, and regulatory guidelines to develop detailed and effective test cases.

Design test scenarios to cover functional, regression, integration, security, performance, and compliance testing.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage aligns with business and regulatory requirements.
3. Test Execution and Automation:

Execute manual tests to validate new features, bug fixes, and system updates.

Perform end-to-end testing of financial transactions, account management, reporting modules, and APIs.

Utilize automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter) to create and maintain automated test scripts.

Validate data integrity, transaction accuracy, and system responses under various conditions.
4. Defect Management:

Identify, document, and prioritize software defects with clear reproduction steps and severity classification.

Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify defect fixes.

Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint meetings to provide QA insights and status updates.
5. Compliance and Security Testing:

Conduct tests ensuring applications meet PCI-DSS, GDPR, AML, KYC, and other relevant regulatory standards.

Test system resilience against security vulnerabilities such as data leaks, injection attacks, and unauthorized access.

Collaborate with security teams during penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
6. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain comprehensive test documentation including test plans, cases, execution logs, and defect reports.

Prepare quality assurance reports and metrics for management and compliance audits.

Assist in preparing release notes and user manuals as required.
