Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) functions across the manufacturing plant.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with automotive industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements, regulatory standards, and internal quality procedures.
- Handle customer complaints, warranty issues, and lead root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and CAPA methodologies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, improve process capability, and enhance product quality.
- Lead internal audits, supplier audits, process audits, and customer audits.
- Monitor quality KPIs such as PPM, COPQ, rejection rates, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues.
- Develop and mentor the quality team while promoting a culture of quality excellence.
- Manage supplier quality performance and support new product development (APQP/PPAP).
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific quality requirements.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and Control Plans.
- Hands-on experience in Automotive Components and Press Stamp/Sheet Metal Manufacturing.
- Expertise in quality tools such as 8D, 7 QC Tools, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and CAPA.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, measuring instruments, and inspection techniques.
- Experience in customer handling, supplier quality management, and audit management.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership, team management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
Preferred Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt) or Lead Auditor (preferred).

· 06.00 am to 2.30 pm - 1st shift
· 02.00pm to 09.50 pm - 2nd shift
· 09.50pm to 06.00am - 3rd shift
· 09.00 am to 05.30 pm - General shift
· Sunday week-Off
