Job Title: Project TI Quality Engineer / TI Quality Lead
Department: Telecom Infrastructure (TI)

Job Summary
The Project TI Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring quality standards in telecom infrastructure projects including site installation, tower erection, power systems, and network equipment installation. The role involves monitoring project execution, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with telecom quality standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Ensure implementation of quality standards in Telecom Infrastructure (TI) projects.
Verify installation quality of telecom equipment, power systems, and passive infrastructure.
Ensure adherence to client quality guidelines and project specifications.
Site Inspection & Audits
Conduct site quality audits for tower erection, BTS installation, shelter installation, and power systems.
Identify quality gaps and provide corrective actions.
Perform pre-installation and post-installation inspections.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain quality reports, audit reports, and compliance documents.
Ensure proper documentation of project deliverables.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
Vendor & Contractor Management
Monitor quality of work performed by vendors and contractors.
Ensure contractors follow telecom installation standards.
Conduct vendor quality performance reviews.
Process Improvement
Suggest improvements to improve project quality and efficiency.
Implement quality control processes in telecom rollout projects.
Client Coordination
Coordinate with clients for quality approvals and audits.
Handle customer observations and close quality issues.
Required Skills
Knowledge of Telecom Infrastructure (TI) deployment
Understanding of Tower installation, BTS installation, and power systems
Knowledge of quality audit processes
Experience in telecom rollout projects
Strong documentation and reporting skills
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools
Preferred Technical Knowledge
Tower erection standards
BTS / Microwave installation
Power systems (SMPS, Battery bank, DG)
Fiber connectivity basics
Safety and quality compliance
Educational Qualification
B.Tech / Diploma in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical, or related field
Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
Site quality compliance
Audit success rate
Reduction in rework and quality issues
Timely closure of quality observations
