Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Inspects Materials: Reviews incoming raw materials and parts through visual checks and physical measurements before production begins.
Monitors Production: Oversees assembly lines and in-process items to catch defects early and notify supervisors.
Approves Final Products: Verifies that finished goods conform to requirements before they are packaged and shipped to customers.
Maintains Documentation: Records test results, logs non-conforming or defective items, and drafts formal inspection reports.
Calibrates Equipment: Ensures measurement tools and testing instruments are operating correctly and scheduled for regular maintenance.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and use precision measuring instruments.
Education: Typically requires a high school diploma followed by a relevant technical diploma, vocational training, or a bachelor's degree in engineering or science disciplines.
Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical problem-solving, and clear communication to coordinate with manufacturing teams
