Process Monitoring: Oversee the manufacturing line to verify that production processes stay within defined tolerance levels.
Defect Management: Reject, mark, and remove defective items, ensuring they do not advance down the supply chain.
Documentation: Record inspection data, log non-conformances, and draft detailed reports for the Quality Control Manager.
Compliance: Enforce standards like ISO 9001 and coordinate with production and engineering teams to address recurring flaws.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Proficiency: Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous eye for detecting visual and physical variations from the baseline.
Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot production issues and support root-cause investigations.
Communication: Clear written and verbal communication to effectively explain quality issues to floor operators and supervisors
