Job Description
Inspect castings and machined valve parts at the supplier's place as per the ITP given by BH to ensure parts are to the print and specifications per the criteria defined.
• Report on the status of daily inspection to the BH supplier quality engineer. Also, to report out the supplier quality performance trend, consolidating the daily data.
• Responsible for documenting any defects/deviations observed during Inspection and reporting to the supplier and BH SQE.
• Implement necessary containment and corrective actions for the reported NCRs.
• Being responsible for Supplier Quality Engineering has various levels of differentiation, which are related to the level of technical understanding of engineering drawings and the ability to manage vendors.
• Handling communication with direct BH colleagues and suppliers.
• Drive continuous process improvements at external suppliers and enhance quality levels for incoming parts at BH sites.
