The Hitachi ABB Power Grids Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 1400 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest engineering hub. The India Operations Centre is a key aspect of the Power Grids business Power Up transformation program. The INOPC team at Chennai supports Hitachi ABB Power Gridâs units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Power Grid business. To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.

Your Responsibilities

Learn and understand organization strategies, processes, and process hierarchy.
Create business process maps and flow charts, update and maintain them.
Ensure compliance of the business process architecture and itsâ components with ISO 9001.
Implement changes, update and maintain the quality management system.
Support organization by responding to business queries regarding quality management system and process maps, and quickly resolve them.

Your background

A Bachelor degree in Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in working with quality management system and developing/mapping processes.
Excellent knowledge of quality management systems, ISO 9001 requirements and ability to apply them (certification preferred).
Excellent knowledge of Visio, Adonis and other similar process modeling and mapping tools.
Good knowledge of process structuring & process mapping.
Good knowledge of Office tools.
Analytical, structured, solution oriented and problem-solving mindset.
Taking charge/lead of the delegated tasks.
