Admission to Ph.D Programme (Addendum)
Applications in the prescribed format are invited for admission to full-time Ph.D programmes in the following areas :
Youth Development
Local Governance
Eligibility : Master’s Degree in the above mentioned areas with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA (50% for SC/ST/Physically Disabled category) in the Master’s degree. The candidates with M.Phil/JRF/NET/SLET are exempted from the entrance examination.
University Fellowship : RGNIYD offers fellowship of Rs.13000/- p.m. + Rs.24000/- contingency per year for full time scholars who are non-receipt of any other fellowships from any source.
Application Fee : Demand draft for Rs.500/- towards for application fees drawn in favour of the Director, Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, Sriperumbudur payable at Sriperumbudur
Admission Procedure : On the basis of Entrance Test and Personal Interview to be conducted by the Institute. Reservation of seats and relaxation of marks will be as per Government of India Rules.
