Job Overview
A Receptionist at an Ayurvedic Panchkarma Clinic is responsible for welcoming patients, managing appointments, handling inquiries, and ensuring smooth front-desk operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, basic administrative knowledge, and a friendly, patient-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
1. Front Desk Management
- Greet and assist patients with a warm and welcoming attitude.
- Guide patients regarding treatments, doctors, and clinic procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the reception area.
2. Appointment Scheduling & Coordination
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
- Maintain a digital or manual record of daily bookings.
- Coordinate with therapists and doctors for timely treatments.
3. Patient Assistance & Information
- Provide information about Panchkarma therapies, Ayurvedic treatments, and consultation fees.
- Assist patients in filling out forms and maintaining medical records.
- Handle queries related to treatment plans and follow-up visits.
4. Billing & Payment Handling
- Generate invoices and collect payments from patients.
- Maintain daily cash reports and payment records.
- Assist with insurance claims if applicable.
5. Call Handling & Communication
- Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries.
- Follow up with patients for appointment reminders and feedback.
- Maintain effective communication with clinic staff.
6. Administrative Support
- Maintain stock of office supplies and Ayurvedic medicines at the front desk.
- Support the clinic in basic administrative tasks and record-keeping.
- Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure a hygienic environment.
