Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Understanding Hiring Needs:

Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to determine staffing needs and role requirements.

Assist in the creation or updating of job descriptions and specifications for new or existing roles.

Understand the short-term and long-term hiring goals of the company.
2. Talent Sourcing and Outreach:

Source candidates using various methods including job portals (e.g., Naukri, Indeed, LinkedIn), social media, employee referrals, and recruitment agencies.

Create and manage job postings across platforms to attract qualified candidates.

Build and maintain a talent pipeline for recurring or anticipated vacancies.

Attend career fairs, job expos, and networking events as a company representative.
3. Screening and Shortlisting:

Review resumes and applications to evaluate candidate fit based on qualifications, experience, and job requirements.

Conduct initial screening interviews via phone, video call, or in-person to assess communication, skills, and cultural fit.

Maintain detailed records of candidate evaluations and interview feedback.
4. Interview Coordination and Support:

Schedule interviews with hiring managers and ensure a smooth process for both candidates and internal teams.

Guide candidates through the interview process, addressing questions or concerns along the way.

Coordinate assessments, technical tests, or skill evaluations when required.
5. Offer and Onboarding Process:

Work with HR and department heads to prepare and extend job offers.

Negotiate salary and benefits within company guidelines, ensuring transparency and fairness.

Coordinate background checks, reference verifications, and document collection.

Support new hire onboarding to ensure a positive start for new employees.
6. Employer Branding and Candidate Experience:

Promote a positive image of the company through engaging communication and respectful treatment of all applicants.

Ensure timely updates and feedback are provided to candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Support employer branding initiatives via content, social media, and engagement strategies.
7. Data Management and Reporting:

Maintain and update recruitment tracking systems or ATS (Applicant Tracking System).

Prepare reports on hiring metrics such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, cost-per-hire, and diversity statistics.

Use recruitment data to suggest process improvements and hiring strategies.
