Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment Strategy and Planning

Develop and implement an effective recruitment strategy aligned with the company's expansion plans in the insurance sector.

Collaborate with department heads (sales, operations, underwriting, etc.) to understand manpower requirements.

Plan hiring targets for field sales (e.g., POSP, agents, advisors), back office, and support roles.
2. Talent Acquisition and Sourcing
-
Source candidates through various channels including job portals (Naukri, Indeed), social media (LinkedIn), employee referrals, campus drives, and recruitment agencies.

Build and maintain a pipeline of high-potential candidates for recurring and urgent roles.

Engage passive talent through headhunting and networking in the insurance community.
3. End-to-End Recruitment Process Management

Screen, interview, and assess candidates based on role-specific criteria.

Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and ensure a smooth candidate experience.

Administer and interpret skill assessment tests where applicable.

Manage salary negotiations and ensure alignment with company compensation policies.
4. Recruitment Analytics and Reporting

Maintain detailed records of hiring metrics: time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, and quality-of-hire.

Generate weekly and monthly recruitment reports for management review.

Identify bottlenecks in the recruitment process and implement improvements.
5. Employer Branding and Campus Engagement

Enhance employer branding by promoting the company as an employer of choice in the insurance sector.

Represent the company in job fairs, university tie-ups, walk-in drives, and industry events.

Design recruitment marketing campaigns and social media outreach.
6. Team Management and Vendor Coordination

Manage and mentor a team of recruiters or HR executives.

Onboard, evaluate, and coordinate with external recruitment agencies and freelancers.

Monitor agency performance, ensure TAT adherence, and manage recruitment budgets.
7. Stakeholder Management

Work closely with senior management and functional leaders to ensure timely and accurate hiring.

Provide consultation to hiring managers on market trends, compensation, and candidate availability.

Ensure transparency and collaboration throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
