• Have to give training to the candidates those who are willing to study RHCE based on log sheets that is prepared by IIHT
• Installation of different Linux Flavor like Red Hat, Fedora, Ubunto etc..,
• Manage user accounts, groups, sudo
• Knowledge Folder, File Permissions & Ownership
• Knowledge in Advanced File Permission
• SUID, SGID & Sticky Bit
• Maintaining Linux Quota System
• Knowledge in Package Installation
• RPM
• YUM
• Source Installation [ .tar .gz Files ]
• Working skills in Samba, NFS & FTP
• Experience in Web server implementation with DNS Concepts
• Managing User for client by using NIS
• Setting up local mail server (sendmail, dovecot, postfix)
• Knowledge in Backup & Restoration by using tar
• Monitoring various log activities
• Knowledge in Scheduling Backup’s (Crontab)
• Knowledge in Configuring RAID and LVM
• Knowledge in network monitoring tools like top, ps
• Installing and configuring of Linux (Red Hat 5,6) on servers and workstations.
