Summary:
Responsible for the overall operations of the company in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, by managing all the offices, agents, vendors and staff. Also responsible for overall development of business.
Responsibilities :
Understand the working of the business thoroughly and oversee the entire operations in these two states.
Development of new offices, new agents and new sectors.
Meeting business revenue targets individually for each office in the specified region. Periodically identifying poor performing offices/agents (franchisees) and taking required action to boost the revenue for that area
Keeping the entire workforce motivated and process driven. The workforce will include staff members, agent office members, drivers, load men etc.
Appoint new agents where require to boost revenue and closely monitoring the performance of the newly appointed agent
Ensuring that every office within the specified area maintains all the required service and operation standards
Creating reporting as requested by the head office and participating regularly in meetings with the top management to discuss business development plans and service related issues and feedback
Conducting regular meetings with Head Office team and the local team to discuss the problems if any and arrive at efficient solutions
Conduct regular meetings with local team to deliver information, share best practices, review team performance and create actionable plans to improve results
Operations - Monitoring the departure time of vehicles and load of vehicles according to the vehicle capacity
Finance - Checking daily bank balance abstract, vouchers, cash balance and petty cash. Monitoring the Daily Remittance Statement from all agents. Verifying the trip sheets and closing it
Marketing - Fixing targets to agents according to the target fixed for the branch by the head office. Monitoring target achievements of agents and analysing targets not met and reporting the same. Motivating the sales team to achieve the target. Visiting customers regularly to maintain relationship and to request for new business development
Service - Settling customer complaints and claims. Coordinating the activities of all agents by making regular visits.
Check the pending stock status and report.
Skill Factors:
Must be a graduate.
10 years of experience in the Logistics Industry.
Must be fluent in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil & Telugu.
Familiar with Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka & Telangana.
The last two points can be modified as follows.
Preferably a resident of Hyderabad.
Willing to travel and must have an appetite for showing rapid growth.
