Registrar/ Controller of Examinations  job opportunities in Cochin University of Science and Technology

Qualifications :  1. A Master's degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent Grade of B in the UGC 7 point scale. 2. Ph.D in any discipline with at least 5 research publications in peer reviewed journals with ISSN/ISBN Registration. 3. 15 years of teaching experience in University / Government or Aided Colleges with a minimum 3 years of Administrative Experience. OR 15 years experience in National Research Establishment and or other institutions of higher education with minimum 3 years of Administrative Experience. OR 15 years of Administrative Experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.

Scale of Pay :  Rs.37400-67000 + AGP Rs.10000/-.

Age Limit :  Between 40 and 52 years as on 01.01.2019. (Age Relaxation as per Kerala Government Rule is applicable to eligible candidates). Age limit is not applicable in the case of employees in the regular service of Cochin University of Science and Technology.

Mode of Recruitment :  By direct recruitment as provided in the Cochin University of Science and Technology Act, 1986, amended from time to time by the  Government of Kerala.

The establishment of the erstwhile University of Cochin in 1971 was a commitment from the Government of Kerala towards the new scientific policy resolution adopted by the Central Government on 4th March 1958. The birth of the new University was with the specific purpose of “development of higher education with particular emphasis on post-graduate studies and research in applied science, technology, industry and commerce”. The University of Cochin was later reorganized as Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) in February 1986.
