Job Description
Job Summary:
A Relationship Manager – Working Capital (B2C & B2B) is responsible for managing and growing relationships with business and individual clients who require working capital solutions. They assess financial needs, provide tailored credit solutions, and ensure smooth processing of working capital loans, credit lines, and other financial products. The role involves client acquisition, portfolio management, risk assessment, and cross-selling financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Identify and onboard new B2C (individuals, small business owners) and B2B (corporate clients, SMEs, enterprises) customers in need of working capital financing.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients to enhance customer loyalty.
- Act as a trusted advisor by providing customized financial solutions.
2. Working Capital Solutions & Credit Assessment
- Understand client business models and financial needs to recommend suitable working capital products (e.g., overdrafts, term loans, invoice financing, cash credit, trade finance).
- Conduct credit risk assessment by analyzing financial statements, cash flow, and repayment capabilities.
- Coordinate with internal credit teams for loan approvals and documentation.
3. Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Cross-sell and upsell financial products such as business loans, credit cards, trade finance, and treasury solutions.
- Identify opportunities to expand market share by targeting new industries and market segments.
- Work closely with marketing teams to generate leads through campaigns and networking events.
4. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure that all working capital solutions comply with banking regulations and financial policies.
- Monitor customer accounts to detect any potential risks or early warning signs of defaults.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure smooth loan disbursal and repayment tracking.
5. Reporting & Market Analysis
- Prepare reports on client portfolios, loan approvals, and revenue growth.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on competitor offerings and industry trends.
- Provide feedback to management for product improvement and new offerings.
