A Relationship Officer in a leading bank is responsible for managing and building strong relationships with customers by providing financial solutions, advising on banking products, and ensuring excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer queries and financial needs.
- Provide tailored financial advice based on customer requirements.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints and service requests.
2. Sales & Business Development
- Identify and approach potential customers for banking services.
- Promote and sell financial products such as savings accounts, loans, credit cards, and investment plans.
- Meet sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
- Cross-sell and upsell banking products to maximize customer value.
3. Financial Advisory & Product Promotion
- Understand customer financial needs and recommend suitable banking solutions.
- Educate customers on loan options, insurance policies, and investment products.
- Ensure customers are aware of digital banking services and assist with onboarding.
4. Market Research & Customer Insights
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions.
- Gather customer feedback to improve banking services.
- Provide insights to the bank for product development and service enhancements.
5. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all banking transactions and customer interactions comply with regulations.
- Conduct due diligence and KYC (Know Your Customer) verification.
- Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and financial dealings.
