Relationship Officer
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Acquisition
-
Identify and approach potential clients through field visits, referrals, walk-ins, or cold calls.

Present and explain company offerings such as savings accounts, loans, insurance, investments, or real estate.

Onboard new customers by assisting with KYC documentation and application processes.
2. Relationship Management
-
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing customers.

Act as the go-to person for customer queries, service issues, or complaints.

Provide timely follow-up and proactive service to enhance customer loyalty and retention.
3. Sales & Cross-Selling
-
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable financial products (e.g., savings accounts, credit cards, home loans, insurance, FDs, mutual funds).

Meet or exceed assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Cross-sell third-party products such as life insurance, general insurance, health insurance, and investment services.
4. Portfolio Management
-
Maintain regular contact with clients to monitor product performance and suggest adjustments.

Update client records, transaction details, and service requests accurately in the CRM system.

Analyze customer profiles to identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
5. Service Excellence
-
Ensure smooth customer onboarding, timely updates, and resolution of service-related issues.

Guide clients through digital platforms (mobile apps, net banking, online portals).

Collect customer feedback and suggest improvements to enhance service quality.
6. Market Awareness and Reporting
-
Keep up to date with financial market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes.

Share insights with the team and contribute to strategy discussions.

Prepare daily/weekly reports on customer interactions, pipeline status, and closures.
