Key Responsibilities:
1. Outbound Calling & Follow-Ups:
-
Make daily outbound calls to customers with overdue accounts as per the assigned portfolio.
-
Remind customers of pending payments and due dates.
-
Use professional, courteous, and persuasive language to encourage prompt payments.
-
Schedule follow-up calls and maintain call logs and outcomes accurately.
2. Payment Negotiation & Resolution:
-
Negotiate repayment plans based on the customer’s financial situation within company policy guidelines.
-
Offer EMI options, settlement offers, or restructuring proposals where applicable.
-
Handle objections or disputes tactfully and escalate complex cases to seniors when necessary.
3. Customer Data Management:
-
Update customer details, call status, remarks, and promises to pay (PTP) in the internal system or CRM tool.
-
Maintain confidentiality of customer financial data and adhere to data protection policies.
-
Flag and report unresponsive accounts, wrong numbers, or high-risk cases.
4. Coordination with Internal Teams:
-
Coordinate with the field collection team for hard recovery cases.
-
Share information on bounced cheques, failed payments, or legal follow-up requirements.
-
Work closely with the accounts and finance team for daily collection status and receipt generation.
5. Compliance & Quality Assurance:
-
Follow the company’s code of conduct, recovery guidelines, and compliance procedures.
-
Ensure adherence to regulatory norms such as RBI, NBFC, or telecom recovery laws.
-
Attend regular training on soft skills, customer handling, and compliance updates.
