ROLE: Research Assistance (Medieval Indian History)

START DATE: Immediately

DURATION: 4 Months

STIPEND: 10000 /month

Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Conducting research in medieval history

2. Collecting reliable information from primary and secondary sources on ‘the early invaders, starting the invasion of Sindh by Mohammad Bin Qasim followed by Mohammad Ghori, Mehmood Ghori, Mahmud of Ghazni, Timur, Nadir Shah, Ahmad Shah Abdali, etc., Delhi Sultanate, and The Mughals

3. Gathering material from original as well as secondary sources, especially writings of Islamic historians of the time

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 15th Mar’21 and 19th Apr’21

3. are available for duration of 4 months

4. are from Delhi and neighboring cities

5. have relevant skills and interests
