Job Description
Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) invites application for the position Research Assistant
Educational Qualifications:
1. B.Sc. Agriculture/B.Sc. Biotechnology (Plant Sciences)/B. Tech. Biotechnology.|
2. M.Sc. in Plant Breeding and Genetics.
3. At least second division at Bachelor’s level and 65% marks or OCPA of 6.50 out of 10.00 at Master’s level.
4. Matric level certificate of Punjabi language from Punjab School Education Board or any other recognized Board (as first or second language).
Note: The candidate who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possess Ph.D. degree in the discipline required at Master’s level shall be eligible for the post.
The candidate should give an undertaking that for publications in peer reviewed Journals where the candidate is not the 1st author, the work pertains to M.Sc., Ph.D research or other projects in which candidate was engaged as researcher. If there is any such publication, the candidate should specify his/her contribution to justify his/her claim to get score for that.
