Job Description
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. - The intern will be trained in handling the instruments for data collection
2. - Collaborate with our research team to set up field experiments for measuring greenhouse gas emissions
3. - Assist in deploying and maintaining gas analyzers, sensors, and measurement equipment in rice fields
4. - Participate in data collection activities, including measuring gas concentrations and collecting soil samples
5. - Travel in two districts of Punjab for data collection at least twice a week
6. - Support data analysis and interpretation to quantify greenhouse gas emissions from rice fields
7. - Contribute to the calibration and maintenance of measurement instruments
8. - Organize and record data accurately for research purposes
9. - Engage in regular discussions and knowledge sharing with team members
10. - Assist in the preparation of research reports and presentations summarizing findings
