Project Title : “Impact of Agricultural Interventions on Farmers Wellbeing: Evidences from Semi-Arid Regions of Rural India”
Research Assistant
Period : Contractual for 6 months
Job Description:
- Undertake necessary review of literature
- Compile and collate all the data and relevant information in excel
- Analyze the field data; both qualitative and quantitative
- Assist the Research Associate in report preparation
- Any other tasks assigned by the Project Directors.
Educational Qualification : Ph.D./M.Phil./ Post graduate in social science discipline with minimum 55% marks.
Skill Sets :
- Ability to conduct structured Interviews for data collection
- A basic understanding of the impact assessment.
- Ability to enter data in MS Excel
- Preference will be given to candidates having In-depth understanding of micro data.
- Candidates familiar with handling of large data sets (NSSO, Census, Penn world data.) and their use to understand the policy dynamics in India.
Experience : Previous Impact assessment engagement
Remuneration : Rs. 20,000 per month ( Consolidated)
Research Associate
Period : Contractual for 6 months
Job Description:
- Overall coordination and supervision of the project
- Preparing the plan for data collection; both primary and secondary data
- Prepare the tools of data collection in consultation with the team
- Preparation of the final research report
Educational Qualification : Post graduate in any social science discipline with minimum 55% marks and NET/SLET /M.Phil/Ph.D)
Skill Sets :
- Expertise in impact assessment projects
- Project management and coordination with multiple stakeholders
- Experience in designing survey , data collection and .database management
- High quality analytical writing skills for reporting
- Preference will be given to candidates having In-depth understanding of micro data.
- Candidates familiar with handling of large data sets (NSSO,
- Census, Penn world data.) and their use to understand the policy dynamics in India.
Remuneration : Rs.25,000 per month (Consolidated )
