Qualifications: PhD in Biological Sciences. Only Indian nationals can apply for this
position.
Experience: Candidates must have experience in molecular biology, transfection, protein over expression in insect or mammalian cells. Additional experience in screening for inhibitor using cancer cell lines, protein purification, crystallization, structure determination and target structure-based drug design is preferred but not mandatory.
Job description: Cloning, ion channel overexpression in mammalian cell line, detergent screening using F-SEC, large scale protein purification and sample preparation for cryo-EM and crystallization using LCP, X-ray and cryo-EM data collection, structure determination and structure-based small molecule drug design using Schrodinger suite, inhibitor screening using various cancer cell lines. Proven manuscript/grant writing skill(s) is most desirable.
