Research Associate Biotechnology Job vacancies in Regional Centre for Biotechnology
Title of Project: “Mechanism of mutagenic & translesion DNA synthesis by a mycobacterial Y-family DNA polymerase”
Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences/Biotechnology, minimum 60 %
marks in M.Sc or equivalent degree . Research experience and
practical knowledge of protein purification, biochemical assays, protein crystallography and
small angle X-ray scattering is essential. Demonstrated productivity in the form of peer-reviewed
publications in international journals is essential.
Desirable Qualifications: Knowledge and Research Experience in the field of DNA
Replication and Repair.
Age : 36 years
Fellowship: Rs. 36,000/- plus 30 % HRA per month.
Duration: Initially for 12 months and may be extended after review for another period of 12 months or till the end of the project duration whichever is earlier.
