Research Associate Cell Biology job recruitment in Shiv Nadar University.
About the Project : Wilson's disease is an autosomal recessive disorder caused by mutations in the ATP7B gene, leading to the build-up of copper in various tissues including in brain, liver, and kidneys. This project is related to the discovery of therapeutic agents for treating copper overload in Wilson's disease.
Minimum educational qualifications : Ph.D. in the area of
cell biology, molecular biology with work experience in human cell culture,
cell imaging, standard molecular biology techniques and enzyme kinetic studies.
Number of posts : One
Fellowship amount : Rs. 36,000 + 30% HRA (first year), Rs. 38,000 + 30% HRA (second year), and Rs. 40,000 + 30% HRA (third year), as prescribed by the funding agency
Tenure of the post : 1 + 1 year (Extension to second year is
based on the performance)
