Research Associate Computer Science – Web Data Scraping and Analysis
Role Description: Responsibilities of the research associate include data scraping from social networking and other websites. Applicants with some understanding of social network concepts would be preferred.
Qualifications: Candidates with undergraduate/postgraduate/PhD degree in management/ information systems/engineering/computer science/mathematics or other related disciplines are encouraged to apply.
Candidates should be proficient in Python. In addition, candidates should be comfortable in one or more scripting/programming languages, such as R. Candidates should have good oral and written communication skills in English.
Compensation: The selected candidate will be offered a monthly stipend of INR 22,000-INR 30,000 based on prior qualifications and experience.
Research Assistants – Business Policy Area
Project(s) Description: The project involves profiling executive movements across firms. The project involves creation of a large dataset with close to 7000 cases of executive mobility.
Qualifications: Candidates with minimum 4-year/8-semester Bachelor’s degree or A Fulltime Master’s Degree in any discipline (Candidates currently pursuing a full time Master’s degree or Ph.D can also apply)
Number of Positions: 1 to 2 positions
Compensation: Candidates are eligible for a monthly remuneration anywhere between INR 25,000 - INR 40,000 based on the prior qualifications and strength of the candidature.
