Research Associate Engineering recruitment in Institute of Mathematical Sciences (IMSc) Chennai

Educational Qualification: Candidate should have a PhD or submitted his/her doctoral thesis in an Engineering subject or Physics, and at least three publications in indexed international journals.

Desirable : Specific requirements for the position The selected candidate will work with Dr. Rajesh Ravindran on a project to develop atomistic and mesoscopic level models for the microstructure of cortical bone that will predict their complex fracture behaviour. The candidate should necessarily have excellent command over continuum mechanics, C programming, and MATLAB. A background of research in blomaterials is strongly desirable.

Pay Scale: Rs.36000/- Per Month + 30% HRA

Age Limit: As Per Rules

Selection Method: Written test followed by Interview for only short listed candidates on the same day. [or] Direct interview in case the no. of candidates appeared for Written Test is less than ten .
