1. Post: Research Associate- Entrep
2. Summary: Indian Institute of Management Bangalore invites applications for the position of Research Associate.
3. Research Associates get a chance to assist the Centre’s faculty in ongoing research projects and to get research exposure across a wide range of fields related to entrepreneurship. They will get strong experience in research and a grounding in theory and methods.
4. The position also involves providing teaching assistance for Masters level courses in Entrepreneurship such as Entrepreneurial Mindset, Entrepreneurship in Action, Corporate Entrepreneurship etc. and also ad-hoc programs for entrepreneurs offered by the area. Other administrative activities would arise from time to time that could include creating reports, and organizing seminars and conferences.
5. Qualifications: We are looking for recent graduates with a Master’s degree, good academic credentials and a long-term interest in research. Candidates with a statistics background and familiarity with statistical packages such as STATA are especially encouraged to apply, although we welcome applicants from a variety of disciplinary backgrounds. The individual will also be involved in projects for the government of Karnataka, assessing and improving the delivery of services by government agencies. Hence fluency in Kannada is required.
6. Compensation: An all-inclusive monthly emolument in the range of Rs.30,000 (Rupees Thirty Thousand only) to Rs.36,000 (Rupees Thirty-Six Thousand only) per month plus an additional house rent allowance of Rs.8,000 (Rupees Eight Thousand) per month based on educational qualification and experience of the applicant. Annual increment will be based on performance.
7. Duration of the Assignment: Initially for a period of 6 months and extendable up to three years based on performance review.
