4. Essential Qualification
a. A candidate should have a first class or a high second class B.Sc. & M.Sc. degree in Chemistry with minimum average marks of 55%. A candidate must have a Ph.D. degree in any field of Organic/Supramolecular/Polymer Chemistry/Biochemistry from a recognized University/Institute with overall good academic record and impressive publication list.
b. Those who have submitted PhD thesis and still waiting for the degree are also eligible. In such cases, the fellowship will be as per rule until the PhD certificate is produced.
c. Candidates having prior experience in polymeric/supramolecular soft materials for biological applications including drug delivery, therapeutic and antibacterial studieswill be preferred. The candidate having firsthand experience in multi-step organic synthesis, cell culture, bioimaging and biophysical studies will be given priority.
5. Fellowship: As per IACS rule
6. Tenure of Fellowship: Initially for six months from the date of joining which may be extended maximum up to two years subject to the recommendation of the evaluation committee based on his/her performance at every six-months interval and the availability of vacancy. The position is purely temporary and candidate will have no right to claim (explicit or implicit) any post in the institute.
Age Limit:
Maximum 35 years as on the last date of application.Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. Rule
