Applications are invited from Indian citizens for the Research Associate-I Mathematics position in the School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata, India.

Research Associate I: Holomorphic dynamics and several complex variables.

Educational qualifications: The position requires the following educational qualifications:

1.  A Ph.D. in mathematics (in the areas Complex Analysis, Several complex variables, holomorphic dynamics) from a recognized university or institute.

2.  A minimum average marks of 55 percent is required B.Sc/B.Tech or M.Sc/M.Tech.

Emoluments:  As per rules of the Institute.

Duration: Initial appointment will be for one year, subjected to extension to two or more depending on the review of the candidates performance.

Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis and are awaiting award of the same may also apply subject to receiving their Ph.D. degree. Such candidates are eligible to draw fellowship at par with RA only after their Ph.D. degree. 

Age Limit: Below 34 years age, Age relaxation is available as per government rule.
