University of Hyderabad (UOH) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for Research Associate-I Physics purely on temporary basis.
Essential: a) Ph.D. in Physics (Synthesis and self-assembly of colloidal nanoparticles, Photonic Band Gap (PBG) calculations, Raman spectroscopy and related topics only) b) Knowledge in Photonic crystals (PCs), Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS)and synthesis of colloidal Nanoparticles
c) Experience in calculating PBG calculations using software such as MITPhotonic Bands, COMSOL Multiphysics, analysis of SERS data, fabrication of Photonic crystals through self-assembly route Desirable: a) Minimum 3 first author publications/ patents b) Experience/Knowledge in handling laser-based instruments (e.g. Raman Spectrometer, Confocal microscope, Light scattering spectrometer)
Pay Scale : Rs. 47000
