Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate-II (RA-II) in the Undergraduate and Graduate Program in the branch of Biological Sciences, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata. 

1. Post Name: Research Associate-II Biochemistry

2. Essential Qualifications: The candidate should have a PhD degree in Biochemistry with Masters degree in Microbiology or other branches in Biology. Candidates who have submitted their PhD thesis are also eligible to apply but their final selection will be guided by the relevant rules of IACS.

3. Duties and Responsibilities:

i. Apart from opportunities of conducting regular research, the RA-II is expected to be involved in the teaching latX)ratories in the area of Biological Sciences by preparing laboratory manuals as per syllabus, making all the experiments ready before beginning of the semester,

ii. Giving instructions to the students for each experiment, assisting the students in conducting experiments, helping the students in preparing lab reports, maintaining attendance records,

iii. Doing needful to evaluate the students, maintaining lab inventories, maintaining the teaching and research setups and take full responsibilities in maintaining appropriate environment of the teaching laboratory.

4. Emoluments: The position is purely temporary. The tenure and fellowship amount of will be as per the institute norms and government rules
