DST funded Project titled “Preservation and analysis of the century-long solar data from Kodaikanal Solar Observatory”.
Essential Qualification : 1) Ph.D in Physics, in the area of Solar Physics.
2) Excellent skills in computer programming for data archival and analysis on UNIX platform.
Proficiency in using IDL Software for data handling and analysis for research in Solar Physics with few refereed publications in the relevant field are essential.
