The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI University) invites application for the position Research Associate
Division: Land Resources
Experience: 1 - 3 years
Qualification: Masters degree in Botany, Forestry, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Management or related fields
Skills: Software proficiency - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS / R/ STATA, Knowledge of GIS- RS techniques, data and softwares
Location: Delhi
Job Profile:
- Plan the activities of the ongoing project(s) and monitor progress against the approved work plan
- Work with team to make sure that project is on track; to remove impediments, provide resources and data needed
- Basic or intermediate-level proficiency in carbon markets, field level carbon stock assessment, ecosystem services, knowledge of forest governance, experience and knowledge of forestry based field work will be desirable.
- Collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data and compilation of project reports and proposals.
- Good proficiency in English language, communication and writing skills
- Software proficiency - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS / R/ STATA, Knowledge of GIS- RS techniques, data and softwares
- Comfortable in frequent domestic & international travels
- Organizing internal and external meetings, workshops, conferences, and other dissemination activities.
