Job Description

Applications are invited for the positions of “Research Associate” on a research project funded

by India-Trento Programme for Advanced Research. The project is to be completed at Indian

Institute of Technology Gandhinagar. The details are as follows:

Project Title: Early detection of Alzheimer’s using Individualized Brain Atlases and Machine

Learning

Consolidated Monthly Pay: as per DST norms (Rs. 47,000 pm)

Qualification and Experience:

Essential: PhD in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, Computer Science,

Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or any other related field.

Desirable: Previous knowledge of structural and functional MRI, Brain Imaging Techniques,

Programming experience in Matlab, Brain connectivity Analysis, Familiarity with Machine

Learning techniques
