Essential Educational Qualifications: Ph.D./ M. Phil in Economics from a recognized University/Institute with strong
academic and research background
Desirable Educational Qualifications: Relevant Publications in journals of repute.
Essential Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in the relevant field with any national/
international agencies or state government agencies out of which one year of
relevant experience in Food Security.
Desirable Work Experience: May be a good team leader and have handled a team of 2-10 earlier. Should be well versed with the quantitative and qualitative research tools and
techniques. Persons with research bent of mind on rural development, particularly food
security, will be preferred. Should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with a flair
for writing research reports. Should be ready to travel on need basis Good communication skills in English
Age Limit : Maximum Age limit is 40 years
Remuneration : Rs.40,000/- per month
