3. Essential:
a) Ph.D. in Physics (Optics and laser spectroscopy related topics)
b) Knowledge in surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) technique
c) Experience in analysis and classification of SERS spectra of different materials
4. Desirable:
a) UGC CSIR NET/JRF
b) Minimum 3 first author publications/patent
c) Knowledge of high energy materials
d) Experience in handling ultrafast lasers and spectrographs
5. Job Requirement: Preparation of SERS substrates using ultrashort laser pulses and/or various chemical methods followed by the SERS studies.
6. Stipend/Remuneration: Rs. 60,000 gross
7. Tenure of the post: The position is initially for a period of one year and further extension may be sanctioned based on performance, mutual consent and a review by external experts.
8. Based on the guidelines of the IoE directorate the fellowship is fixed at 60,000 INR for the first two years and 70,000 INR for the third year
